What is "e-waste"?
- E-waste is a term used for electronics such as computers,
televisions, VCRs, stereos, copiers, microwaves and fax machines.
Most can be recycled, reused or refurbished. They are no longer
being accepted in the general waste stream. Many contain high
enough levels of certain materials, such as lead, that render
them hazardous waste.
Recycling of E-waste is also available at the local Waste
Management Recycling facility in Chico
located at:
2569 Scott Ave
Chico, CA. 95928
Drop-off of E-waste is free of charge.
