During the 2004 calendar year the Network
Chico web site went through many changes, upgrades
and additions. The vast majority of the changes and upgrades
were adjustments in the navigational ease of use of the site
as well as minor alterations to improve search engine rankings.
Many additions were made for Network
Chico clients as
well as the general public. For Windows
users Network Chico added
the searchable Start-up applications
list which is a valuable troubleshooting tool. Windows
freeware continues to be made available and a new downloads
page has been added for convenience. Each individual program
also has their own page in the Free
stuff section of the site. For Linux
users the Linux FAQ has
been added to the web site providing substantial Linux
information. Mac OS users have
a list of tips and tricks for OS X as well as a downloadable
security configuration guide.

terms glossary offers easy to understand definitions of computer
terms and continues to be expanded. Many more additions are planned
